When the path stops fitting
A conversation about career crises and their opportunities

You did everything right. You got the role, the salary band, maybe the recognition. The job is fine. So why does Sunday afternoon feel like a small grief? Why does the Monday alarm feel like an obligation instead of a beginning? Why does the version of you that pictured this life ten years ago feel like a stranger?
If any of that sounds familiar, you are in good and very crowded company. Career crises are one of the most common transitions women navigate, and one of the least talked about. They get hidden under burnout, dismissed as ingratitude, or postponed indefinitely with the phrase “maybe next year.”
This session gives you a map.
In 90 minutes, we will work through:
- What a career crisis actually is, and how it differs from burnout and boreout
- The four most common patterns (“Is this it?”, the motherhood pivot, the plateau, the forced transition)
- Five concrete signals that you are in one
- The six inner saboteurs that keep women stuck (gratitude trap, sunk cost, external validation, decision paralysis, financial fear, comparison trap)
- The four real paths forward (stay and reshape, new employer, career reorientation, self-employment) and how to tell which one is yours
- An energy audit you can take into the rest of your week
This is not a motivational session. It is a practical, honest framework, drawn from psychological counseling, systemic coaching, and 14 years of running a self-employed business. You will not be sold an outcome. You will be given tools.
Right after the presentation: a panel discussion with women who have walked exactly these paths, sharing the parts that don’t make it into the highlight reel.
Who this is for: Women in their 30s-50s who are feeling the drift, the doubt, or the unmistakable click of “this no longer fits.” Whether you are still in the questioning phase, in active crisis, or rebuilding after a transition. Also for anyone who supports women going through this, professionally or personally.
Your speaker: Isabella Raunigk is a certified psychological counselor (LSB), systemic business coach, and adult education trainer. She is the founder of Mind Distillery and a mentor with SheSkillz Global. Self-employed since 2012, she works at the intersection of psychology, business, and digital design, with particular sensitivity for neurodivergent and LGBTQIA*-affirmative work.
